March 24 2007 Little Top Speed Fun w/ The New Turbo Setup From UMS Tuning To L.A..
One of my connecting rods had failed at the last timeattack in December so it gave me a very good excuse to
make some adjustments...more power...
So to make the story short...went big turbo...GT35R Dual Ball-Bearing...550whp, 540wtq with UMS's
modest tuning...well that called for a challange there...
I had to see what the car can do...so...3hrs 20min 404miles Tampa Arizona to Santa Monica, California...:)
I raced everything on the way naturally...blew the doors off a 6.0 GTO, smoked a Corvette, bye bye 2 Evos...
But the best part was doing 170mph+ and trying to take a picture of it...sorry about the fuzzy pictures, but
it's kind of hard to drive at that speed with one hand and watch the road and try to take a picture of the
dashboard at the same time...lol ...fun times...the car felt so effortless even at 160+ that I first haven't
even realized how fast I was going...this was right after I left the GTO...had to take a picture...enjoy...
Im sure the car could do 200+ if it wouldn't run out of gears at around 180mph...too bad...
